Yep. I spent yesterday in an intimate seminar with Andy Anderson. This wasn’t exactly one of the techniques we discussed, however, Andy says he spent the last two years perfecting the 15 step process of creating a detailed color sketch that I used above. He was so excited to share it with us that I just had to try it out. It doesn’t look much different from an auto-filter when saved for web, but was still fun to try.

Today I’m learning all sorts of nifty Illustrator knowledge. Patterns and brushes and symbols, oh my! :)

Bella (aka Belly, Isabella) is Don’s oldest little girl. We were hiking around at Devil’s lake last year when Nick took this.
