7:37 a.m. – Nick leaves for work. I put on an extra sweater, Nick’s zip up, a scarf, an extra pair of socks and slippers. I wait for the repair man. I wait… I wait… I wait…

11:17 a.m. – Still waiting…

11:34 a.m. – He’s here! Hallelujah!

11:54 a.m. – I hear furnace kick in and rejoice. Time to head to work.
